On July 24, 2024, Allied Waste Solutions had the unique privilege of participating in the AIR India auction for BER scrap aircraft A-320 tyres, an event that marked a significant milestone in our commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable recycling practices.
The auction featured an impressive array of 22 M/W and 243 N/W tyres from retired A-320 aircraft. This opportunity allowed us to further our mission of responsible recycling and waste management. We are thrilled to announce that Allied Waste Solutions emerged as the highest bidder (H1), a testament to our dedication to excellence in the field of waste management.
The entire experience of the auction was nothing short of extraordinary. We extend our deepest gratitude to the MMD-Engg., Avionics Complex, and IGI Airport for their support in providing these tyres and facilitating a process that aligns with our environmental goals. This collaboration is not just about recycling tyres; it’s about creating a positive impact on our planet. The tyres will be processed through our state-of-the-art recycling plant, Spreco Resource Recyclers, where they will be transformed into valuable resources, contributing to the reduction of environmental waste and promoting sustainability.
